pantry/family food box pick up:tuesdays 10:00am-1:00pmsaturdays 10:00am-12:00pmmust call for an appointment at 757-491-2846community dinner is served daily (no appointment needed):monday-friday 5:00pm-6:30pmsaturday-sunday 2:00pm-3:30pmrequirements (family):- assistance is available to city of virginia beach residents only.- families are limited to receiving one (1) box of food per month.- families feeding children must prove how many children under the age of 18 reside in the household and that each child is either a member of the family or, in the custody of the adult head of household.- birth certificates or child custody orders as well as other supporting documents may be requested by the staff of the judeo-christian outreach center.requirements (individual):- available food is placed on tables in front of the dining hall at or around 11:00 am each weekday.- food is given out on a first come, first serve basis only.- taking of excessive portions of any item will not be tolerated. those taking more than a reasonable amount of any product may be instructed to return it.- items may include bread, produce, pastries, meats and baking goods, however there is no guarantee as to what items will be available in what quantity.- once the supply of food set on the tables is depleted, it will not be re-stocked until the following weekday.
