saturday10:00 am to 12:00 pm volunteer:now, we need your help to start stocking our food pantry. we will be packing each box with the following food staple items: breakfast items - cold and hot cereals, pop-tarts, grits, breakfast bars, pancake mix/syrupcanned fruits and vegetablespasta and pasta sauceinstant potatoes and stuffing mixrice, beansmac and cheesecanned meatspeanut buttersoups and stewscrackers and cookiescoffee/teashelf-stable milk this is a huge missional effort for all of us. if you are interested in volunteering to help with this task, please email dale gentz or call 804-317-7554. jesus said, "to whom much is given, much will be required."(lk 12:48) this is our opportunity to give to those who are hurting during this pandemic in 23112. god will use all our efforts, along with the boathouse restaurant, to make a major difference in our community! you too can be part of this effort!staple items will be pre-boxed and fresh produce will be housed at the boathouse. cars will pull into the front loop of the church parking lot and volunteers will place a box in each trunk. there will be time for conversation safely from each car window.donations:you may donate staple products at any time in the box located outside the church office door. there will also be a trunk in the narthex to place your donations. every week a volunteer will stock the shelves and provide a list of the most needed items in the weekly enews. for more information, please call.
